"If I were a man" is Audrey Dana's latest comedy. In this feature film she has a double role: director and main character. In 2010 she had already been remarked as an actress in the short film "Something to do". Directed by Valérie Knight this movie has been produced by Patrick Puzenat.

'If I were a man' is Audrey Dana's second feature film (the first one was 'Under the girls' skirts'). This feminist movie tells the story of Jeanne Clairet (Audrey Dana) a divorced mother with two children. On a Morning, she wakes up discovering she has a penis. The movie shows how she tries to deal with this new situation between giggles with her best friend Marcelle (Alice Belaïdi) and visits to her dubious gynecologist Christian Clavier. The situation becomes complicated when her collegue Merlin (Eric Elmosnino) falls in love with her.
Audrey Dana started her career as a theater actress. As she met the writer/director Bernard Weber, her career took a new trajectory : she was remarked by Claude Lelouch. He gave her a role in his movie 'Roman de gare' in 2007. This role will impulse her career. She received to Awards in 2008: César du Meilleur Espoir Féminin and Prize Romi Schneider.
Audrey Dana is also a scenarist and director since 2008. In 2014 she directed her first feature movie in which she was director and actress.
